This vineyard has built its reputation thanks to its unique soil and climate. It is located in Limoux, near the city of Carcassonne in the Languedoc, overlooking the Aude Valley. The La Forge wines are made by Domaine Paul Mas, a group of four families who own together 250 acres.
This Pinot Noir has a deep bright and lovely garnet-red color, it is very elegant with a quintessence of red berries, strawberry, cherry and soft spices aromas with a hint of vanilla. It is a medium-bodied wine, with ripe tannins and acidity, which guarantees its capacity to age. It develops very delicate aromas and a long lasting finish.
It will accompany well-grilled meat: lamb, veal or pork, game and soft medium cheese.
