Red: Château les Eydins 2007
The Côtes du Luberon are part of the South Côtes du Rhone. They are located south-east of Avignon on the Durance River. The vineyard of Château Eydins belongs to Serge Seignon, a passionate young vintner who learnt the trade with his father.
Château les Eydins is a blend of 10% Syrah, 70% Grenache, and 20% Carignan. It has a deep red ruby robe and a discreet nose. To the palate it shows a good concentration with medium tannins, a touch of licorice, black cherries and spices. It is a wine ready to drink. The Grenache does not age well.
